3D Printed Guitars

I came across Olaf Diegel’s 3D printed guitars by accident and found the concept to be quite intriguing. Diegel is a professor of mechatronics at Massey University in New Zealand, and he has been printing some interesting instruments from guitars through to saxophones. Diegel claims that 3D printing now makes it possible to print guitar shapes that are otherwise impossible to manufacture. He is so confident in 3D printing technology that he claims it will soon be used to output entire buildings!
