Jimi Hendrix needs no introduction. The gear that’s listed above is what was used shortly before his passing, and can be seen on the Woodstock concert footage. Jimi and his white 1968 Fender Stratocaster go hand in hand, which he connected to notably few effects pedals. This allowed him to concentrate on his performance and get the most out of his guitars volume control. Jimi also happened to be a talented sound engineer and knew how to tweak his gear to his benefit.
