ZZ Top combined Texas blues with their own unique image, which consisted of long beards, leather and sunglasses. Their hit song “Sharp Dressed Man” is a good way of defining the bands dress code, which can be achieved by using pressed coats and pants, fedora hats and some flashy colors wouldn’t hurt. Don’t exclude the fake beard, as ZZ Top was one of the defining forces that made long beards fashionable. Billy Gibbons offers us some fashion advice directly… “Avoid ill-fitting garments. I’ve seen a hundred-dollar suit that, cut correctly, looked like a million bucks.”
