Joe SatrianiWith a career spanning over 20 years, Joe Satriani has never been more popular. Joe shows no signs of slowing down as he still continues to perfect his playing, gear and career. His rig has become considerably smaller since the recent addition of the Fractal Audio Axe-Fx as a stereo effects processor. It’s now responsible for the majority of Joe’s effects (including delay), besides a few stompboxes he continues to use (see below). Joe uses this rig as part of his Surfing to Shockwave tour, and is likely to be altered when he embarks on his next tour.

The majority of Satriani’s effects now originate from the Axe-Fx, including delay, reverb and chorus. Satriani does use a few stompboxes in addition to the Axe-Fx.[su_spacer size=”15″]
