Buckethead Plays Live for the First Time in 4 Years (Video)

Buckethead has commenced on his first tour in 4 years, which includes a bunch of US dates until the end of June. Although absent from live shows, Buckethead has definitely made it up in the studio by releasing a massive 118 albums last year. That equates to 224 album releases since 2012. It definitely deviates from the “normal” way of doing things, which is that of Buckethead’s persona. But the one thing I’m finding difficult to grasp is that there are no band members and only backtracks to support his playing on this tour. Apart from making more money (which is all I can think of as to why), Buckethead definitely sounded a lot better with a backing band (at least in my opinion). But judge for yourself by checking out the footage below, and don’t forget to leave your opinion in the comments below!
